The Team Behind Economics Education

Economics Education was built by a small group of TF2 veterans who were frustrated by unreliable trading sites and opaque pricing. Every member of our team has spent hundreds of hours in the game and understands what traders actually need from a platform. We are committed to continuous improvement, listening to user feedback, and keeping the platform honest, fast, and free to access.

Marcus Holt

Founder & Platform Architect

Marcus has been trading TF2 items since the Mann-Conomy update and built the first version of Economics Education as a personal project. He oversees all technical infrastructure and sets the long-term direction of the platform. His focus is always on reliability and keeping trade data accurate.

Yeva Thornton

Lead Backend Engineer

Yeva designed the real-time pricing engine that powers market data across the entire platform. She has a background in financial data systems and applies those principles to make TF2 item valuations as precise as possible. She also leads the team's security audit process.

Daniel Osei

Frontend Developer & UX Designer

Daniel is responsible for the dark, clean interface that makes browsing inventories and listings feel intuitive for any gamer. He draws on Steam's visual language while pushing for faster load times and clearer item displays. Every interaction on the site has passed through his design review.

Priya Kalvani

Community Manager

Priya moderates the platform's forums, handles user reports, and communicates platform updates to the trader community. She has been an active TF2 unusual trader for several years and brings genuine community insight to every decision. She also coordinates partnerships with content creators in the TF2 space.

Riku Saarinen

Trust & Safety Lead

Riku built and maintains the scam detection system that protects users from fraudulent trade patterns. He analyses flagged accounts, reviews appeals, and refines detection algorithms based on emerging threat patterns. His work has been directly responsible for a significant reduction in reported scam attempts on the platform.
